Inside the Ferris Wheel at Aserkelo Amusement Park.
"It feels like you can see the whole world from the very top."
Ciri knelt on one side of the Ferris Wheel cabin, pressing both hands against its specially made window as she looked down below.
Aserkelo had now sailed near the Frost Plains. The Forgotten Land lay at Aserkelo's very edge, and the Ferris Wheel had been built on that edge as well.
So when the Ferris Wheel reached its highest point, Ciri could no longer see the edge of Aserkelo. All she could see was a world shrouded in heavy snow.
Distant mountain ranges, forests blanketed in frost and snow, and the falling snow from the sky, all held outside by Aserkelo's magical barrier.
Whenever Ciri leaned against the window, she had the illusion that she was floating high above the world.
"That's exactly the effect I wanted," Joshua said.
Ciri had maintained that posture—the sort a child might take while riding a kindergarten bus—for nearly ten minutes.
Joshua did not particularly like snowy scenery, but as long as Ciri liked this attraction, that was enough...
But it was a little boring.
Just as that thought surfaced in Joshua's mind, Ciri turned around and sat down properly again.
"This Ferris Wheel is... a little less interesting than the Roller Coaster. Are the rest of them going to be like this too?"
Ciri already seemed a little tired of it. More accurately, ever since she had entered the Ferris Wheel, she had been in a constant state of restlessness.
The only way she could ease her tension was to turn her back to Joshua and pretend to admire the view outside.
After gazing at the scenery for nearly ten minutes, Ciri finally adjusted herself and turned back to face Joshua properly.
