Underground Nolan.
After being in this world for so long, Joshua finally started his true, meaningful Otherworld Adventure.
The minecart built by the Frost Axe Clan could conveniently and directly reach the deepest depths of underground Nolan, but riding it was not very comfortable.
The minecart was originally designed to transport minerals, so there were no seats inside, and a large amount of slag was stuck to it.
Joshua did not care about these dirty things... but the air underground was so stuffy that Joshua felt a little suffocated.
The dwarves did not have complete oxygen delivery equipment when mining. In Frost Axe's words, mining deep underground relied entirely on one thing, which was perseverance.
Joshua endured the turbid air in the mine tunnel for nearly half an hour before the minecart slowly traveled to an open space.
From here, Joshua could see traces of dwarf activities. Some sort of glowing Source Crystal Stone located above allowed Joshua to clearly see the surrounding environment.
Mining tools were thrown around this open space, along with some tents used for resting. Aside from these traces of dwarf activity, Joshua also saw the skeletal remains of some... creatures.
No... it should be called the remains of some giant magic automaton. Joshua placed both hands on the edge of the minecart, staring at the giant humanoid magic automaton not far away that only had parts like its ribs and skull left.
Its head alone could accommodate three adult human males.
"Is this an Ascender's magic automaton?" Joshua looked back and asked Frost Axe and the Blue Robe sitting in the other carriage.
They were far more familiar with this place than Joshua.
"What magic automaton, it's just a bunch of useless iron junk. The only moving one I encountered twenty years ago broke down
