Mrs. Si was discussing films with White Thorn Flower Jazz when sounds of astonishment came from the garden entrance.
This drew her gaze toward the entrance, where she saw a girl in a pure white gown. Even though Mrs. Si had grown accustomed to countless lavish court dresses, she was still amazed by the design of this one.
Its pure color and delicate material destined this gown to bloom in beauty only once.
"Who is she? A rising star in your theater troupe?"
When Mrs. Si shifted her attention to the girl's face, she instinctively asked White Thorn Flower Jazz.
"Th-this... Madam Si, she's Miss Ciri, the bride of this wedding," White Thorn Flower Jazz answered awkwardly.
"Ciri Lloyd?"
Mrs. Si narrowed her eyes at the girl who had stolen everyone's attention. Only after studying her for a long while did she manage to match her face with the Ciri in her memories.
She had always been sharp-eyed when it came to people. No matter how exaggerated someone's makeup was, Mrs. Si rarely mistook anyone... yet this time, her discerning eye seemed to have failed.
Because in Mrs. Si's impression, Ciri had nothing whatsoever to do with feminine softness. If she became an actress, she would be the most unqualified kind.
It had nothing to do with her appearance, but rather her temperament and personality. Ciri's personality made Mrs. Si feel that she ought to have been a boy—far too rambunctious.
But this time, Ciri proved to Mrs. Si that no matter what kind of girl she was, before the person she loved, she would reveal her reserved and shy side.
"Stunning. The dress and the makeup," Mrs. Si said.
"This outfit was also designed by Mr. Joshua. I heard it's called a Wedding Dress," White Thorn Flower Jazz added.
