After reading the script Joshua had given him, White Thorn Flower Jazz gave it a single assessment: "cruel."
Not even for a horror film like "The Shining" had White Thorn Flower Jazz used the word cruel.
"Of course I am. Otherwise, why would I have you handle the casting?"
Joshua had not visited the White Thorn Flower Theater for nearly a month. By now, the theater had released many New Movies, most of them from Falosi. Only one or two had been invested in and produced by White Thorn Flower Jazz himself.
When White Thorn Flower Jazz heard that Joshua wanted him to make a New Movie, he had been so delighted that he nearly summoned every worker in the theater to welcome Joshua.
But after reading the script for the New Movie, no matter how badly White Thorn Flower Jazz wanted to hide the pained expression on his face, he found that he simply could not.
"Describing the cruelty of the world through a child's eyes..." White Thorn Flower Jazz could only sigh in the end.
"The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" had been set during World War II on Earth, telling the story of Jewish people in a German Army concentration camp.
But it described that cruel history through the lens of a fairy tale. The protagonist was the eight-year-old child of a high-ranking German Army officer. Due to his father's transfer, he moved into an estate not far from a concentration camp.
By chance, he ran near the concentration camp and met a child who had been captured.
In the end, at his friend's invitation, the innocent boy put on the same prison uniform as the prisoners and entered the concentration camp.
