Surrender

Lay down your weapons. Surrender and be spared!

Almost none of Ice River Valley's affiliated forces had heard this phrase before, but as they watched the Burning Flame Valley elders and disciples charge in with eyes blazing in fury, more and more people understood its meaning after hearing it shouted several times.

Attacks filled the sky. People from the affiliated forces kept falling—some had their bodies pierced by arrows, some were beheaded by blades and spears, while others were struck head-on by powerful Dou Techniques and exploded into chunks of flesh. Blood permeated the air, and cries of agony and despair rang out everywhere.

The first person to surrender appeared. He was a blue-robed middle-aged man with the cultivation of a Dou Huang. His face was pale as he trembled and descended to the ground, his voice carrying a hint of sobbing.
