The fragile wooden door was kicked open by Miss Lin. That devastating kick from the violent prophet instantly brought back memories of those miserable days when I had fought her. After wrecking her own boyfriend, she'd finally decided not to spare her boyfriend's alma mater either.

"Easy, easy. Can't a rich young lady act a little more refined?" I said with a curl of my lip from behind her. Without even turning around, Lin Xue tossed back, "Tch. We already know it's all fake. No need to pay for it if it gets smashed."

I could only shrug and follow after her, poking my head in to look around the classroom.

The spacious classroom was filled with gloomy light, like the kind of scene where dust hung thick in the air. In the vast room, there was only a single desk and chair, eerily placed in the empty space at the center of the classroom. Surrounding them were piles upon piles of haphazardly stacked textbooks, like bonfires waiting to be lit. Through the classroom windows, we could see the scenery outside: a dreary rainy day, torrential rain and silent lightning woven into a curtain as they washed over the sliding glass windows. Yet the strange thing was that everything was so quiet. What lay before us resembled a silent film; whether it was the lightning outside or the raindrops striking the glass, they silently repeated those few frames over and over.

Of course, everyone knew that outside was really just a silent campus at night, but we had already grown used to the abnormal scenes displayed beyond these classroom windows.

"Another weird classroom, and still no people." Lin Xue muttered as she walked in. She casually brushed
