It's over!
This book began updating on January 15 and ended today, August 31. In seven and a half months, I wrote nearly five million words—an average of twenty thousand words a day.
No exaggeration: even a nuclear-powered workhorse like me couldn't keep it up anymore.
Of course, no one else was to blame. I brought it entirely on myself. After stubbornly insisting on writing original work and bombing so badly I couldn't even recognize my own damn mother, I chose the even more terrifying path of writing two books at once under overwhelming, horrifying mental anxiety. That was how this spectacular "typing miracle" came about.
Looking back over my career, this book wasn't my longest, nor was it completed in the shortest time, but it was absolutely a record that even I myself would never be able to surpass.
Sigh. The more I say, the more it hurts.
To sum it up: I'm fucking never writing original work again. At the very least, not until I finish the Warcraft series. I won't touch that field that left me battered and bloodied.
The truth is, people have to find the field they're good at. Before you've even figured out your comfort zone, don't keep dreaming about opening up broader horizons.
People need to have a damn clear idea of their own limits.
Yeah, it's wonderful that I'm already in my thirties and still capable of having this kind of life realization. I hope I've truly learned my lesson this time and won't fall into the same pit for a third time, though I remain cautiously pessimistic about that future.
So, what should I say now that this book has come to an end?
First of all, I have to thank my reader brothers. No, my reader godfathers, for supporting this
