Then Sean had caught them all in one sweep.

Every last one of them was scum, so when the lucky one was released from petrification and revealed a terrified expression, Sean's green light did not pause in the slightest.

Sean felt no psychological burden over killing an evil man, but since this was his first time making a Horcrux, he was somewhat serious about it.

That fragment of Lust's soul will was difficult to handle. Whether it was placed in Stephanie's Soul World or Sean's Soul World, it would pose hidden dangers.

So Sean decided to make a Horcrux.

Although that soul will was not part of Sean, Sean possessed control over his own Soul World. He could use that ability to disguise the soul will—making it appear as though it were a portion of his own soul that had been split off.

Naturally, this Horcrux would not function as a means of resurrection. However, once that soul will was stored inside the Horcrux, its hidden dangers would be kept outside.

At the same time, Sean could monitor the Horcrux's movements through the disguised soul traits he had given it.

Incidentally, to eliminate every possible risk, Sean chose something from his ring that no one had ever touched—a Monocle.

It was not the one Stephanie had given him years ago, but one Sean had bought afterward purely to look cool—though he had never gotten the chance to use it.
