Wizards from the Australian Ministry of Magic on Reynolds's side widened their eyes, then immediately drew their wands as one.
"What are you doing?! Are you trying to attack Lord Grindelwald's student? Are you trying to defy the inspector sent by Lord Grindelwald?!" Monsa Lana barked.
Reynolds looked tremblingly at the python around him, its sharp fangs glinting with an unsettling cold light.
There was clearly a magical suppression effect here, and that kid had not even drawn his wand...
But I represent the Australian Ministry of Magic. Surely this brat wouldn't dare kill me.
Thinking this, Reynolds's voice trembled slightly, but he still snapped angrily, "In this joint operation between the Australian Ministry of Magic and the International Confederation of Wizards, I am the Ministry's representative! I am an official!"
Hearing their superior speak, the Ministry wizards behind him immediately raised their wands and took a step forward.
Monsa Lana's temper flared. At his movement, the people from the International Confederation of Wizards also raised their wands.
Although the two groups usually disliked each other and occasionally clashed, this was the first time everyone had pointed their wands at one another.
Caught in the middle, Sean merely brushed aside the fringe hanging over his forehead. He turned and smiled at Monsa Lana. "Your primary task is to monitor this area, not stand up for me or vent your Lord Grindelwald's anger. Put them away and continue your work."
"But..." Monsa Lana hesitated.
Sean pursed his lips and repeated himself, "Put them away. Go complete your work."
At the same time, he turned toward Reynolds, who was still tightly bound by the python. "Let's get acquainted again. My teacher is Grindelwald."
Though these two statements appeared to be directed at different people, Sean was speaking to both groups at once.
