Rhine.
The night view of this port city was breathtaking. A breeze brushed across the sea, reflecting the countless lights along the distant shore. Enormous cargo ships were docked at Rhine Harbor, and one of them was under especially tight guard.
This cargo ship was called the "Dwarf." It had departed from Tin Silver in Southern Continent and had only arrived in Central Continent today. It was said to be part of an "important transaction" completed between Red Grape Corporation and Tin Silver's upper ranks.
Several Transcendents were stationed around the Dwarf on patrol.
Rhine was one of the landmark cities in eastern Central Continent, a vital harbor. There were only two Star Messengers responsible for guarding this place, but neither could be compared to Linci Town's Garrison Commander.
Both had reached the fourth tier, and each commanded a certain number of priest Transcendents.
"Madam Rose."
After night fell and the ship dropped anchor, the Dwarf's deck rose and fell with the waves. The woman with wavy hair leaning against the railing and watching the sea slowly turned around, looking toward the several Transcendent captains patrolling behind her.
The sea breeze stirred the loose dark-red robe draped over her body, outlining her slender, graceful figure.
"The third round of patrols still found nothing unusual."
The captains spoke quietly, reporting the results of their inspection.
As they lowered their heads, they exchanged glances, their eyes still carrying a trace of confusion...
Madam Rose was truly behaving strangely today.
The Dwarf had safely arrived in Rhine. They only needed to wait for Red Grape Corporation's Star Messenger to come tomorrow and complete the handover. By all rights, this was already Central Continent territory, sheltered by the divine radiance of the Source Tower's twin gods. Ordinary people would not dare cause trouble here.
