After everyone had left, Mr. Mo studied Gu Ding carefully, making Gu Ding feel slightly unnerved.
"Looking closely, you really do resemble that senior... though you are much more youthful." After examining him, Mr. Mo smiled kindly.
Gu Ding's heart skipped a beat. He roughly knew whom Mr. Mo meant. "Mr. Mo, have you met my father?"
The father Gu Ding referred to was not Old Dad, who had raised him, but his biological father, since Old Dad looked nothing like him.
"I was fortunate enough to meet him once." Mr. Mo nodded with a smile. "I was able to live until today because I received guidance from that senior..."
"What kind of person was my father?" Gu Ding hesitated for a moment before asking.
"That senior..." Hearing the question, Mr. Mo shook his head. His gaze lifted, slightly unfocused, as though recalling something. "The difference between him and me is like dust compared to the blazing sun. I would not dare speak carelessly of him."
"Was he very strong?" Left with no choice, Gu Ding asked another question.
"Unfathomably so." Mr. Mo nodded at once.
"All right, then what did you want to tell me, Mr. Mo?" Gu Ding knew he would not be able to learn much more, so he could only ask helplessly.
"It is something that senior asked me to pass on to you." As Mr. Mo spoke, a wooden carving appeared in his hand. It was only palm-sized and likewise depicted a woman.
Gu Ding accepted the carving and examined it briefly, soon discovering that it contained a peculiar profundity. There were even Main God Laws lingering around it. He also noticed that the woman carved into it was the same woman from the wooden carving containing Martial Dao Intent that he had obtained earlier.
