"There were two main reasons they dared to provoke the Abyss Demon Race. First, we set the precedent of challenging a Peak Race, and we were still alive and well. That greatly reduced the other races' fear of the Three Peak Races. Second, the various races had long harbored resentment toward the Three Peak Races, and their numbers now far exceeded those of the Abyss Demon Race."
"Also, it wasn't hard to tell from that Fox woman's tone that she had planned this long ago. That meant she was quite confident she could carry out her plan to obstruct them. Both its men and women looked remarkably human and were exceptionally beautiful. Unlike humans, however, they had a pair of long, furry ears and a fluffy tail behind them.
The one who had spoken up to challenge the Abyss Demon Race's authority was a Fox woman. She looked to be around Liliath's age, and a crafty gleam flickered in her brown eyes.
