Before long, the six standard small cargo ships, carrying over a thousand people in total, arrived beside a warship within the fleet formation and docked at its spaceport as instructed.

When Wang Hai descended the gangway, Deputy Officer Bai Ze was already waiting below.

If stargates were used for long-distance travel, then Light Transmission arrays were meant for short-distance teleportation, especially within warships.

Modern warships were often dozens or even hundreds of kilometers long. Relying on traditional means of transportation to get from one end of a ship to another would be far too troublesome.
