All of it had been for the sake of completely suppressing the resistance forces within the Silas Empire and the Sallamo Republic within five years.
And, of course, the sparks of rebellion already kindled within the Zilun Empire itself.
It had to be said that when a Tenth Order Civilization went all out, a Ninth Order Civilization had no ability to resist. Even after adopting a strategy of complete concealment and waiting for change, they had still been found and mostly destroyed by Latis over those five years.
By now, the resistance forces within the three major civilizations had been utterly crippled. Though they had not been completely wiped out, they would not be able to stir up much trouble for at least ten years.
Given this situation, and with the deadline having arrived, Latis had no choice but to halt the suppression and instead gather an army for an expedition.

As the Current Node leading to the Viers Supercluster, Nivela was now filled with Zilun Empire warships.
Unlike the warships of the Silas Empire and the Sallamo Republic, the Zilun Empire's warships were all very small. By Federation warship standards, they were only about the size of the Federation's former frigates.
However, despite their small size, they were countless times more powerful than the standard warships of Ninth Order Civilizations.
Leaving aside everything else, their Dark Energy weapons alone were absolutely incomparable to the prototype-like armaments carried by Ninth Order Civilization warships.
There were even three extremely special warships, each fully controlled by a Tenth Order Dark Energy Manipulator of the Zilun Empire. By Federation classification, all three were S-rank
