A Minor Conflict!

The sky slowly darkened.

The investors dispersed, as did the city leaders and officials. The investment promotion staff from every county and district naturally packed up their booths and left the park. After the first day of the Investment Conference ended, the people from Zhenshui County had dinner at a restaurant designated by the city, then headed to the hotel the city had booked for them. Zhenshui County was one of the poorest counties in Meihe City, and Meihe City's economy was likewise the worst in the province. Naturally, the hotel was nothing special, though it was probably one of the better hotels the city had to offer.

The hotel was more than ten stories tall, and the Zhenshui County delegation was on the fourth floor.

After picking up their room cards at the front desk, Dong Xuebin discovered that only he had been assigned a single room. Everyone else was sharing. Zheng Dayou and Chen Yunsong had been placed in a standard double room, while Chang Juan and Gong Na were also sharing a standard double. Given the city's economic situation and the shortage of rooms caused by so many investors coming in, that was understandable enough. Everyone could be considerate of one another. But when they went upstairs and saw that Ma Yanfen, Director of the Yangli County Investment Bureau, and Chen Mingming, Director of the Meiyang District Investment Bureau, each had their own business single room, the people from Zhenshui County felt indignant again.

What the hell was this supposed to mean?

Were they targeting them again and again?

The directors of the various Investment Bureaus seemed to have arranged it beforehand. They emerged from their rooms
