You're Finished!

Inside the hospital room.

Dong Xuebin went in, and the nurse followed him inside.

"Please step outside for a moment." Dong Xuebin looked at her. "I have something to say to my wife."

The nurse froze for a moment, then gave an "oh." She seemed a little intimidated by Dong Xuebin. "Press the call button if you need anything."

After closing the door behind her, Dong Xuebin took a deep breath and gritted his back teeth as he walked over and sat beside the bed. His mind was nearly blank. His blood seemed to be exploding in his face, as if every pore in his body was boiling with rage, impossible to stop. He thought of his wife being shoved down in the violent wind, of her clutching her stomach and moaning in pain, of Li Zhixin sitting leisurely outside the Emergency Room as though nothing had happened, and of the people from Chenggang County repeatedly yelling at and berating him with self-righteous indignation.

His hair stood on end with fury!

His rage shot to the heavens!

Dong Xuebin's fury at that moment was beyond words! This was no longer some simple conflict or political struggle! If his wife had not been fortunate, if their child had not been lucky, both mother and child would have been gone! This was a mortal grudge! A blood feud!

"What are... you thinking about?" Xie Huilan had woken up. Leaning against the headboard, she looked at him. Her injuries seemed much better, and she could already sit half-reclined, though her speech was still broken and weak, as if she had no strength. Dong Xuebin had only used Reverse to heal her abdomen, leaving everything else untouched, so she still had a long way to go before recovering.
