The Stingy Secretary Dong!

Outside the park.

It was not dark yet, and the setting sun painted the sky brilliantly.

Seeing this star-studded lineup, the ordinary people outside were far less composed than the Civil Servants inside the park. Many of them cried out in unison.

"Ellen!"

"Liu Han!"

"Ah! Chen Ying!"

"Teacher Zhou is here too!"

"Am I seeing things? Why are there so many stars?"

The celebrities were already used to it. They continued chatting and laughing among themselves without the slightest awkwardness.

Dong Xuebin, on the other hand, was especially vigilant. He had even called over several Jiaolin County staff members to accompany them, worried that they might run into fans blocking their way. Fortunately, nothing like that happened after they entered the restaurant. The public was still very restrained, which finally put Dong Xuebin at ease.

Then came the restaurant staff's shrieks.

Dong Xuebin automatically ignored them and led everyone to a large private room. There were around forty people, filling four tables, most of them comrades from the General Political Department Song and Dance Troupe.

Dinner began.

Dong Xuebin filled his glass and raised it. Just then, Zhang Dongfang came in as well. He was entertaining investors nearby, and the hotels were all in this area, making it convenient to move around.

"Lao Zhang, perfect timing," Dong Xuebin said with a smile.

Zhang Dongfang was holding a glass too. "Heh, better early than late. I just heard from a waiter that you were here, so I hurried over."

Dong Xuebin said, "Then Lao Zhang and I will toast everyone."

Zhang Dongfang added, "Thank you all for visiting Jiaolin County. It is a tremendous honor."

"Secretary Dong and County Chief Zhang are too polite. We're only lending a hand, it's nothing," everyone said as they stood and raised their glasses.
