Nine thirty.
Both of them were awake, but neither got out of bed.
Seeing that it was getting later and later, Dong Xuebin got up after finishing her massage instead of lingering in bed. He climbed naked out from under the covers and went into the bathroom. Once he shut the door, he started showering. He should have washed up after last night's exertions, what with all the bodily fluids and sweat clinging uncomfortably to his skin, along with certain distinctive smells. But they had both been utterly exhausted afterward, without the inclination or energy to shower, and had simply collapsed into sleep. Now that some of their strength and spirits had returned, they naturally needed a thorough wash.
He washed his hair.
Applied body wash.
Brushed his teeth and washed his face.
Dong Xuebin washed himself from head to toe. The hot water washed away much of his mental fatigue, and only then did he dry himself off contentedly and leave the bathroom.
Fang Wenping had just finished dealing with matters on her phone. When she looked up and saw the completely naked Dong Xuebin, her expression darkened. "Don't you know how to get dressed?"
"My clothes weren't dry yet," Dong Xuebin said.
"Didn't I give you my thermal underwear?" Fang Wenping said.
Dong Xuebin clicked his tongue. "I'll change back into my own clothes when I leave anyway, so why go through the trouble?"
Fang Wenping could not be bothered to argue with him, nor did she want to look at him. She waved him away. "Go cook." With that, she climbed out of bed as well. After slipping on her slippers, she walked naked into the bathroom, utterly unhurried and without the slightest hint of embarrassment.
