After lunch, the three of them sat on the sofa watching TV together. Dong Xuebin held his stomach and burped, lit a cigarette, and took puff after puff. "Big Sister Xu, Sister Yu, your cooking is simply incredible. After eating it once, I want it again. I won't even want to cook for myself anymore—my skills are seriously not fit for company. Dong Xuebin immediately said, "I love leftovers too."
Xu Yan nodded. "All right. Mei Xia, don't leave this afternoon either. We'll talk about dinner later."
Yu Meixia gave a noncommittal hum. Her eyelids were drooping, and she looked a little sleepy.
Xu Yan studied her expression. "Mei Xia, are you sleepy? Makes sense. That kid wore us out so much yesterday that I didn't sleep very well either. Want to take a nap?"
Yu Meixia forced herself to stay awake. "I'm fine."
Xu Yan grabbed her hand. "Come on, let's go sleep for a while, just us sisters."
"Okay." Yu Meixia stopped refusing and rose with Xu Yan.
Dong Xuebin, behind them, could not help feeling envious. "Um, I'm actually sleepy too."
Xu Yan glanced back at him. "Mm, so you're sleepy. And?"
Dong Xuebin gathered his courage. "How about I sleep with you two? Would that be okay?"
