The Strange Arc had finally ended, so here was a brief summary.

I felt pretty good about Eternal Donkey.

Maybe because so many people had been stockpiling chapters, the number of readers following along had dropped quite a bit during this period (T^T). I won't say exactly how much it dropped—just that it was a little too much.

But I thought there weren't any major problems when reading the whole thing in one go.

I was confident the readers following along would come back.

The setting of this book was far more complex and substantial than the previous one.

The demon gods in the last book had been written too vaguely. There were no concrete enemies, and I hadn't managed to make them feel imposing. The journey through the Sea of Demon Gods had also been too leisurely.

The anomalies in this book were more concrete, more terrifying, and more substantial than the demon gods.

Of course, only by defeating enemies this strong could Lu Yuan show off even better and harder!

There was also the matter of battle-related plotlines.

I knew that many readers only liked the process of showing off and didn't like battle scenes.

But I had no choice but to write some complex battles that required solving mysteries, because a book had to make logical sense.

Without these plotlines, this book wouldn't be able to smoothly continue its showing-off.

So far, whether it was the Demon Arc or the Strange Arc, I'd been fairly satisfied with these battle scenes.
