Old Cat's core originated from the brain of Tiger's Grace · Cat Mama, a powerful ancient warrior. Its silicon-based modification leaves it between life and non-life: it retains abilities from the original warrior but cannot cultivate or evolve. Its behavior patterns also imitate Cat Mama's, producing recurring “AI defects,” such as compulsive scratching and erratic movements. 46

It claims that its civilization fought the Demon and was destroyed, leaving it to continue the fight alone. Its database and memories are severely incomplete; it cannot reliably remember its civilization's name or history. Lu Yuan discovered Old Cat as a pile of cat-shaped mechanical components and named it after it rejected the name “Cat Mama,” which it considers inseparable from the deceased warrior.
