A Small Matter (Part 2)

Horned Demon was probably the unluckiest one.

As a spirit channeler, his senses were far more refined and sensitive than those of the other two. Some information could not be shut out even if he wanted to. In a daze, drawn by the power of the Fusang Divine Tree, his perception passed through the water, the rock strata, scraped across silt, penetrated the magma chamber, and after repeated interference and collisions, vaguely brushed against some strange, elusive structures.

Horned Demon could sense that the True God was gradually paying more attention to these strange structures, continuously scanning and analyzing them. Yet the structures themselves had already merged into the material composition of the water and rock strata. Some even seemed closer to the ever-changing fabric of space-time itself—Horned Demon was still far from being able to experience any concrete spatial or temporal structures. It was only through the pull of the Fusang Divine Tree System that he had come into contact with such advanced material.

That barely counted as a good thing. It broadened his horizons and deepened his understanding, which would benefit his future cultivation. Provided he could struggle out of today's terrible situation alive.

Horned Demon's pessimism stemmed from the True God's dreadful lack of progress, as well as his increasingly restless mood.

From his perspective, the True God's searching and scanning seemed rather crude—at least compared with these delicate structures imprinted and intertwined within the silt, rocks, water, and even changes in space-time. It was simply far too violent.

The physical precision of these structures was generally quite ordinary. They might be a scratch on a rock, a conspicuous deep trench in a layer of silt—many were traces visible to the naked eye. But once the overall whole was involved, the connections between them became fantastical and
