Layering Method (Part 2)

Hua Dian was the unluckiest person in the world.

At least, for the ten days after April 28, Hua Dian had firmly believed that.

Thanks to that bastard Horned Demon's terrible crowd-control abilities, a routine "business inspection" had suddenly turned into a swing over the line between Life and Death.

A complete mess of an arrangement;

Inexplicable traps;

A sudden bout of infighting;

And two mighty Extraordinary Species who had traveled thousands of miles by Soul Hosting themselves into new bodies.

By the time Hua Dian came to his senses, he had already been "kidnapped" into this Wilderness Laboratory, where he remained for ten days.

Ten days was a very long time, especially with no food or water. Even an Ability User would be close to death after that long.

Hua Dian was grateful that whenever he went out on a mission, he always prepared emergency energy bars and hydration capsules. By rationing them carefully over the past few days, he had finally managed to endure.

As for the others... he had to say that, aside from himself, there was not a single normal person in the laboratory.

The two possessed by Soul Hosting Extraordinary Species aside, Jing Xin and the Horned Demon were two dogs before the True God. They could live by currying favor, so normal logic did not apply to them.

As for the remaining two, Hua Dian had originally wanted to find some sense of superiority in them, or at the very least experience the comfort of fellow sufferers. Reality, however, dealt him a heavy blow:

Saint Anthony truly seemed not to have prepared enough supplies. He had run out of food a week ago. Yet he had forcibly relied on the pure, abundant holy light within him to mutate and adjust his organs and tissues,
