The nearly silent vibration of the wristband had an abnormal effect. For an instant, Old Hand felt a slight numbness in his face, though he did not know whether it was because of Mister Mo's piercing gaze.

He fumbled to turn it off, but it was already too late.

Old Hand could only smile awkwardly. He first nodded apologetically to Mister Mo, then checked the caller. His old face quickly darkened.

It was that bastard Okudaira Yuzo.

The anger in his heart flared up again, but he did not want to disturb Mister Mo. He stood and headed outside. Just before leaving, he finally could not hold it in and said stiffly:

"If it's still the same old talk, there's no point discussing it anymore."

He really did not talk for long. In less than two minutes, he came back inside.

Then he saw Mister Mo standing before the mobile rack he had brought, examining the exoskeleton frame hanging from it and testing it with his hands.

The crude skeleton set on the rack really was a skeleton.

Though it was called an "exoskeleton," it had not yet reached the stage of exterior design. Everything had been kept simple: bones pieced together in various ways. Each detail showed fine craftsmanship, but taken as a whole, it did not resemble much of anything.

The primary material used for the joined bones came from an amphibious Aberrant Species in Ban City called the Bull Demon... Yes, the very Aberrant Species prototype worshipped by the Osawa Order as the Dark Dragon God's Rough Spirit.

The irony was that the Processing Plant where Old Hand worked belonged to the Daze Company, which was controlled by the Osawa Order. Yet the most representative source of high-end processing materials in this plant was the Bull Demon.
