Ever since they had spent so much time together, Ronan had usually left her with the impression of someone who spent long periods thinking and researching, or drifting in an ethereal, absent-minded state. Whenever he did communicate, though, his words were cold and grim, piercing straight into the deepest parts of human hearts.
This scene, on the other hand, made it seem as though someone behind him was driving him forward with a whip—or as though he were rushing toward a fierce battlefield ahead.
