May 12th, Slope City time. The day felt exceptionally long. In the eyes of those involved, it had been divided into multiple event windows from morning to night.
Ever since the Fusang Divine Tree System covered Slope City, powerful figures from every side had rotated through like a revolving lantern. There was no need to mention people like Baiji Pope and Mister Mo. There had even been high-level Extraordinary Species meetings. Including observers, nearly a hundred people had attended, and any one of them could be a major figure in their own sphere.
On ordinary days, every one of those attendees would have been a key target for intelligence agencies to monitor and analyze. Intelligence operatives would have loved to stare up their asses just to see the color and yield of their farts.
But today, the vast majority of them were merely there to play supporting roles and liven up the scene, yet none of them could be underestimated.
The sheer volume of information, mixed with an equally massive amount of noise, had formed an enormous body of data that tortured intelligence analysts of every specialty to the point of near collapse. Multiple intelligence agencies around the world had already prepared to work themselves to death—there was no helping it. Better that than misjudge the situation and trigger a world war.
By comparison, Deep Blue and Apocalypse Laboratory, hidden away somewhere in Deep Blue World, had their own intelligence analysis teams. They were willing to spend money, and they possessed the coveted advantage of being the "first contacts." Even so, they had invested the most effort into this matter.
Fifteen hours had passed since Mister Mo vanished from public view, yet the analysis team hastily assembled by the two laboratories was still working under intense pressure.
