Ronan widened his eyes as he observed, wondering if the Simulator had just begun some sort of storyline.
Yet until the communication ended, Liang Lu said nothing more. He merely made a few adjustments to the metal wall beside him, and the flashing red lights in the surrounding area finally died down.
"Liang Lu, Gongshi..."
"I told you, no need to be so formal. Gongshi is fine, or you can call me Liang Lu." Liang Lu smiled again, though his expression was no longer as bright as before.
Ronan asked him, "Is there a mission?"
"Xiao Field Officer got hit too. He's right next door. Maintenance inside the Honeycomb is going to be troublesome now... Luckily, it's not the front line."
"Got hit?"
"This isn't something we can handle... But don't worry. Field Officer Sheng will be back soon."
Liang Lu answered, then quickly put on a stern face again. "Relax, but stay focused. The army isn't a place to satisfy your curiosity. Time is tight, and this opportunity is rare. You absolutely cannot muddle through it carelessly."
"Yes, Gongshi!" Ronan's game character had always maintained a proper attitude.
Liang Lu was very pleased with this and continued introducing their future work environment. "Don't let the lack of living people here fool you. This is the operational hub and data center of the entire Relay Station. Basic construction, pipeline installation, energy conversion, surrounding terrain, even spacetime structures; the designs for every module, vehicle, and combat armor... All the foundational data is here. With it, in theory, you could rebuild a Relay Station from nothing and make it operate independently. You could say: with one place in hand, the whole base is mine!"
