"Are we friends?" Halfway through the meal, Wakaba Mutsuki suddenly looked up and asked Boss Qianyi this baffling question.
Shoko reached out and pushed her head back down. "Don't talk. Keep eating."
Humans can't be friends with gods, Tsukushi.
Watch out—one day he might descend from the sky and tell you he's already enacted the Band Dissolution Tax. Not only will future disbandments be taxed, but past ones too. And since you dared to dissolve CRYCHIC, each of you owes ten million in band dissolution tax. If you don't pay up or reform CRYCHIC, you'll become a close-range observer of Tens of Thousands of Proverbs.
Shoko protected Wakaba Mutsuki. Great success!
"Could you leave a good review?" After the meal, the server came back.
"We're busy." Qianyi refused flatly.
Seeing Qianyi wasn't easy to deal with, the server turned to the more agreeable Wakaba Mutsuki. "Excuse me, could you leave a good review? It'll be quick, won't take long."
Completely at a loss for how to handle this sudden ambush, Wakaba Mutsuki stood there frozen, about to instinctively comply, when Qianyi cut in for her: "I said we're busy. Urgent. Are your ears working?"
"If you leave a good review, we'll give you a free fruit."
"Oh? Then fine." Qianyi, who'd been pushing Mutsuki and Shoko to leave, stopped instantly, turned around, and handed over his phone. After the server filled in the review, he decisively grabbed the most eye-catching Musang King Durian by the store entrance. "I'll take this. Thanks. You're really nice. I'll come again."
With that, Qianyi was off like Otto in a wheelchair—sprinting, sprinting, madly sprinting. In the blink of an eye, only his back remained.
Server: "?"
Wakaba Mutsuki: "??"
Toyokawa Shoko: "???"
Without time to think, Toyokawa Shoko instinctively grabbed Wakaba Mutsuki and ran.
It was just a simple meal, but Wakaba Mutsuki felt unusually happy. This feeling was exactly like back in CRYCHIC—no, even better than that, because there was an extra, intense, heavy-metal sensation.
Could this be the real music I want to convey with my guitar?
Thinking this, her steps even lightened a bit.
???
"This is a gift. The place you recommended yesterday, Ryo, was really good." Qianyi solemnly placed the durian he'd gotten for free with a five-star review into Yamada Ryo's hands.
He had to admit, yesterday's meal was genuinely satisfying. There was dessert after the meal, and then post-meal exercise. Qianyi wanted to come a few more times and leave more five-star reviews.
But Shoko seemed unhappy eating. Last night, when she was sleeping, she suddenly sent him a few thumbs-down emojis. Couldn't figure out why.
Shoko: ???
Yamada Ryo, who'd originally decided to ask Qianyi today for a good restaurant recommendation, eat there tonight, take a photo to send him, and then block him, spat out the roadside grass she'd been chewing, grabbed Qianyi's hand with emotion, and wept like a Korean people seeing their general: "Ah! Qianyi, you are my sun, the only light in my life! Ah?!"
"Calm down. It's just a durian." Qianyi thought Ryo was overdoing it.
"For a Tokyo rich guy like you, maybe. But for me, this is a forbidden fruit I could never afford in a lifetime." Yamada Ryo sobbed. "So, can you give me one every day? I'm a student."
Seeing Yamada Ryo start her begging routine again, Ijichi Nijika immediately jumped in to expose her lie. "Qianyi, don't fall for it. Ryo's family is rich, and she gets a big monthly allowance. She just spends it all at the start of the month."
"That's necessary band spending. Everything I buy is essential for our performances." Ryo said seriously.
"It's over already." Nijika retorted. "Our guitarist already ran off. Can't find her anywhere. The New Star Band is about to disband."
The moment she said "disband," she suddenly felt a chill down her back.
Nijika turned around and saw Qianyi frantically tapping his phone. "Kita Ikuyo, age..."
"Wait, wait, wait!" Nijika quickly stopped him. "Don't just dox people!"
"Just kidding. I was searching how to become Prime Minister of Japan quickly." Qianyi showed them his phone. The search bar clearly displayed content about the prime minister.
"Phew, you scared me." Nijika sighed in relief, then gasped. "Why did you jump from bands to becoming Prime Minister of Japan?!"
"Once I become Prime Minister of Japan, I can enact the Band Dissolution Tax. If everyone who quits for personal reasons and causes a band to disband is saddled with fifty million yen in debt, I believe band disbandments will be cured." Qianyi explained his vision.
"Qianyi, you bastard!!!" Yamada Ryo was awestruck. How could anyone be this rock?
This was practically the God of Rock!
Ijichi Nijika wanted to retort but couldn't find a single point to argue, so she could only gently dissuade him: "Have you studied how to govern a country?"
Qianyi looked puzzled. "Do you need to study to be Prime Minister of Japan? Isn't it enough to just put a point into 'Anpanman' in the skill tree and bow like crazy?"
"Is... is that right? You might have a point." Ijichi Nijika nodded first, then shook her head repeatedly. "No! No! If you don't know anything and have no governing experience, becoming prime minister will turn policy into a mess. You might even get ousted, and all your decrees will become jokes for future generations. Besides, a Band Dissolution Tax or whatever—isn't that too childish?"
Qianyi ignored the last part.
First, he needed to try gaining governing experience.
Was there a world where he could experiment however he wanted, even if it led to total destruction, without any consequences?
Hey! There was one!
Steel Prison Big: @Child of Prophecy, is Lia there?
Chapter 67: Fae Knight: Encountered a Gravity Lifelong Human, Fought with All Might but Couldn't Win
Steel Prison Big: @Child of Prophecy, Lia, you there?
Child of Prophecy: Whoa! It's Boss Qianyi! Do we have another mission or crisis to save?
Steel Prison Big: There's something I absolutely have to do. Please, this is the request of my life. Let me go to your world. I want to learn how to rule the world!
Child of Prophecy: "Hey hey hey, w-why so serious all of a sudden? I promise, I promise!"
Watching her friend suddenly make such a solemn request through the light screen, Artoria panicked.
She was never good at refusing others' pleas, so she agreed without a second thought. The moment she did, a wooden door swung open, and Qianyi walked out slowly.
"Good morning, Lily." Qianyi waved, greeting the Fae of Salvation.
"G-good morning!" Whether it was the rare moment alone or the first time inviting a human into her home, Artoria was visibly nervous.
Her hands gripped her staff tightly, her emerald pupils shimmering like the finest gems, and her slender frame trembled slightly with excitement.
"By the way... Qianyi, why do you suddenly want to rule the world?" Artoria asked.
"Because I hope that one day, all the Communities of Shared Destiny across the world will be tightly bound together, never to disband," Qianyi said.
"Th-that's amazing." Artoria didn't fully understand, but she felt that Qianyi right now had the aura of a true savior.
"I was thinking the same thing, Lily. Move out, follow me. Destination—Camelot, the Fae Kingdom's capital. Target—Queen Morgan!"
Qianyi was completely unfamiliar with Fae Britain. Without Artoria to guide him, he'd definitely get lost.
As for finding other fae...
Forget it. Those fae would sell him down to his last pair of underwear. Trusting them to lead him to Morgan was about as reliable as hoping Morgan would come to him.
And so, the Fae of Paradise and her trusted companion set off on a journey called salvation and touring. Probably.
"So, Lily, do you know the way to the capital?"
"No, I've never left this village since I can remember. You've played through my story, don't you know?"
"Playing through your story doesn't mean I know everything about you. Inequality solved that. Hasty move. Guess we'll have to ask for directions along the way. Hopefully not every fae is a lying sack of—"
Clearly, Qianyi was disappointed. He and Artoria walked for two straight days, constantly circling the same area. Along the way, plenty of fae, seeing that Qianyi was human, even planned to rob Artoria and take him back as a slave.
Your nine generations might as well be wholesale!
Already blood-boiling with rage at these idiot fae, Qianyi was about to fuse with Artoria, transform into the Great Shark King, and blast a path with light beams until someone who knew Morgan came to haul him back. That was when a fae, completely different from the others, appeared before them—like a noble lady.
Rose-red hair, a black crown tilted atop her head, snow-white pointed ears flanking it with streaks of crimson flowing like spilled threads. A bright, bewitching red dress, like a thorny rose, clung to her slender figure, her legs sheathed in tall red leather boots.
Fae Knight Tristan. As a fae, her name was Bavhanxi.
"So it's you two, trash." Bavhanxi toyed with her rose-red hair, scrutinizing the pair. "The fae and human who've been snooping around Mother."
"It's us." Qianyi admitted openly and stated his intent. "I want to see Morgan. Could you put in a good word?"
"Ah~? You two small fries want to see Mother?" Bavhanxi laughed. This was the first time she'd seen idiots this eager to die. Did they even know what would happen if they met Morgan?
She couldn't believe Fae Britain had fools like this, laughing so hard she doubled over. Their ridiculousness almost amused her. "You're looking to die, aren't you? How entertaining!"
"I hope to reach a consensus with her, to study and learn how to govern a country," Qianyi stated his purpose.
"Heh, govern a country?" Bavhanxi tilted her head. "What, are you some kind of king, trash? I don't have any kings in my collection yet. Of course, a garbage king like you could never compare to Mother."
"I have no interest in your talk of comparing kingly qualities," Qianyi said. He wasn't the type to waste time at a Three Kings Summit. "My only goal is the Band Dissolution Tax."
"Band Dissolution Tax? What's that?"
Bavhanxi heard something incomprehensible. She'd never heard of such a thing in this world. Was it from Pan-Human History?
Seeing the Fae Knight was interested, Qianyi naturally explained—after all, he'd need her to take him to Morgan later. "It's a necessary measure to prevent the Community of Shared Destiny known as a band from disbanding."
"Community of Shared Destiny? What's that?" Bavhanxi was curious. Another term she'd never heard.
"A Community of Shared Destiny transcends gender, race, and even the concept of humanity. Time, space, even death cannot separate it. Once you join this group, your fates will be tightly bound together for life. Not even heaven, earth, or the gods can sever it!" Qianyi explained passionately, the Ksitigarbha at his waist swaying.
"For life..." The red-haired fae murmured, savoring what that meant.
"Fae Knight Tristan—no, Bavhanxi—can you entrust the rest of your life to me?"
"Ha~, you small fry, do you even know who I am?"
"Daughter of Queen Morgan, ruler of Fae Britain. Fae Knight Tristan. The beautiful ruby. The future heir of this Fae Kingdom."
"H-heir?! Mother's heir?! Me?! W-well, of course I knew that!! I didn't need you to say it!! Shut up!!!"
The cruel fae turned her head away, cheeks faintly flushed, yet her heart felt an inexplicable flutter, joy, and calm.
Her so-called cruelty, domination, and trampling were all just to earn more praise and love from Mother.
Now, being called Morgan's heir—didn't that mean she was the fae Mother loved most?!
Her thoughts in chaos, the cruel fae sensed someone approaching, but she didn't feel disgust. She looked up. The handsome, stylish white-haired youth was already before her, raising his hand in invitation.
"Bavhanxi, take me to Camelot. Then I'll convince your mother to temporarily entrust this country to us, so the Band Dissolution Tax can be successfully enacted. Will you entrust the rest of your life to me?"
"Shut up! Why should I listen to you!"
"We can form a forever Britain."
"Ha? What's that supposed to be? Trash. Worst. Boring."
"We can form a forever Britain with your mother."
"Shut up, shut up, shut up! You think I'll listen to you, small fry?!" Bavhanxi's fangs peeked out, glistening. Her rose-red hair swayed gently in the breeze, faint halos shimmering, mingling with what seemed like a maiden's blush.
"Is that so? A refusal, then?" Qianyi was a bit disappointed. Convincing Bavhanxi was too hard after all. He'd have to fight his way to Camelot with Artoria.
"How could I possibly refuse!" Bavhanxi grabbed Qianyi's hand to stop him from leaving, then realized her own loss of composure and hastily let go, turning her face away. "It's not like I'm doing this for you... I'm doing it for myself, don't get the wrong idea!"
Form a Great Britain for a lifetime...

Chapter 68: Any Evil Fae Will Eventually Be Brought to Justice!
Fae Kingdom, Britain.
Bavhanxi had been in a good mood lately, because her career was on the rise—Morgan had enfeoffed Londinium to her as a domain to toy with as she pleased.
And Londinium was no ordinary city. It was the core city of the Fae Kingdom, second only to Camelot. The only places that could rival it were the clan territories of the great Fae clans, making it a vital commercial hub for the kingdom.
The wealth generated by this single city alone could match that of one of the Six Clans—truly a city worth a clan.
Having obtained Londinium, Bavhanxi became the hottest topic among the Fae. Almost every Fae was guessing: had Lady Morgan decided to make her the heir, and was she now preparing the throne for her?
Just thinking about how all the Fae were gossiping that she was Morgan's successor, and that the entire kingdom would soon become her property, Bavhanxi couldn't help humming a little tune.
"Hey, hey, Qianyi, how exactly did you win Mother's favor and get her to give us Londinium?"
Qianyi said, "It's simple. Because Morgan cares about Britain."
"Huh?" Bavhanxi's brain short-circuited.
"Handling the affairs of a nation isn't that simple, let alone the fact that Morgan has to devote most of her energy to suppressing the calamities of Britain. Just think about personnel appointments, salaries and benefits, resource allocation, and so on. Imagine opening your eyes to the daily needs of an entire country, and closing them to a disaster that could destroy it if you're not careful. Can she really hold up under that?" Qianyi explained.
"Such a small problem is no issue for Mother at all." Bavhanxi put down her crossed leg and irritably kicked Qianyi, who was standing across from her, with the tip of her toe.
