Barring any surprises, this book would launch as premium tomorrow, September 21.
As a complete newcomer, I'd kept my head down and updated after getting recommended, so the premium launch came quite a bit later than expected. But every cloud had a silver lining: my editor, Penglai, helped me apply for the Sanjiang Recommendation, and it actually went through. I was incredibly lucky.
One reader was absolutely right: this book had a stronger sci-fi flavor, which had a lot to do with my personal worldview. As I kept writing, it gradually veered in that direction. It wasn't something I could completely control.
According to the outline, the Second Shinobi World War still had four battles left before it ended. The protagonist would take part in two of them, so the main content ahead would still be warfare. However, I might simplify things to a certain extent to avoid having too many battles and making everyone sick of them.
After that, taking advantage of the Hokage's wariness and suppression, he would stay in the village and work with Orochimaru to develop technology. There was also the great undertaking of continuing to dig holes all over the world, exploring the Shinobi World from underground.
As for the update schedule after the premium launch—well, I didn't have many chapters saved up. So there would be five updates on the first and second days, and I'd try to do five updates on the third day as well, depending on the situation. After that, I'd maintain a pace of two updates a day.
The bonus update plan was tentatively as follows: one to three extra chapters for holidays, one extra update for each new milestone, and one extra update for each new Alliance Leader.
Those of you who had made it this far were probably readers who liked this book. Thank you all for your support. I would work hard at writing and updating, striving to give everyone a more interesting reading experience.
PS: I already gave my thanks when the book first made it onto Sanjiang, so I won't list names this time. Lazy Sheep had decided to spend this hour writing.
