Within Li Qi's inner heaven and earth—
He had deliberately expanded the proportion of the Buddhist Heavens within his inner heaven and earth, using them to suppress the Heavenly Demon Devil Lord.
At this moment, there was even a faint trace of the Land of Ultimate Bliss within him. Some might well have believed it if it were called "Dao resonance."
These Buddhist Heavens were replete with solemn splendor, forever free from every suffering.
There were no calamities, no evil destinies, not even the name of demonic affliction. There were no four seasons, no differences of cold and heat, rain and gloom; nor were there great or small rivers and seas, hills, pits, brambles, gravel, Iron Encircling Mountains, Mount Sumeru, or mountains of earth and stone.
There was only naturally formed seven treasures, with gold as the ground—vast, level, boundless beyond measure, subtle and wondrous, marvelous and beautiful, pure and solemn.
The lands were solemn and pure, endowed with every adornment, forever removed from all manner of pain and hardship. Even the names of the Three Evil Destinies and demonic afflictions did not exist. Of all sufferings, calamities, evil destinies, and demonic afflictions, there was not even a name—let alone reality.
A solemn Buddha-land was a pure land manifested from the principle-substance of the Dharma body. This was what the Treatise on Rebirth meant by, "The solemn adornment of the land enters the sentence of purity, namely the Dharma body of true wisdom and non-action." Precisely because its essence was the Dharma body of true wisdom and non-action—because it was the boundary of truth, "neither inverted nor false"—could all phenomena manifested thus resist "desire."
