Background

Xue Luochuan was born as Xue Ye's biological son and the Second Prince of the Heaven Dou Empire. Before the story's main events, he was poisoned by the disguised Xue Qinghe but survived; afterward, his personality changed drastically because he had transmigrated into the body. To avoid further assassination attempts, he requested a remote fief and maintained a low profile despite commanding a border city. 1

The King Summoning System later appeared before him, granting him the ability to summon heroes from King's Continent. With this new power, Xue Luochuan declared his fief independent and established Chang'an, openly rejecting his former identity as Heaven Dou's Second Prince. 1
