"Aha! Are we finally fighting?" Kaido roared and charged straight in. "I've been sick of waiting for—"

Imu extended her smooth, fair palm and gave a light swat, sending the charging Kaido flying.

"How is that possible? She sent Kaido flying with one slap?"

"You've got to be kidding! That's Beasts Kaido!"

Everyone knew Imu was powerful, but even after witnessing her slap Kaido away, they still couldn't believe their eyes. That was Kaido, one of the Four Emperors, a man who stood at the pinnacle of the seas!

They could hardly imagine how much power that delicate palm contained!

"Roar! You damned bastard! I'll tear you apart!" Kaido shoved aside the rubble and charged again with a furious roar.

"Such tenacious vitality. In that case, let's try this!" Imu extended her index finger as she spoke. Milky-white light bloomed at its tip and shot into Kaido's body at incredible speed.

"What happened?" Everyone watched Kaido anxiously, only to find nothing amiss. His charging steps hadn't even faltered as he continued hurtling toward Imu in a blind rage.

"Hmm? Did he pass the check?" Looking slightly surprised, Imu dodged Kaido's wild charge and pointed again, sending another white beam into his body.

Yet it still had no effect.

"Hmm? This is..." Imu's gaze grew a little more serious, and she fired several more white beams in succession.

But those beams sank into Kaido's body like stones into the sea, producing no visible effect.

"Try to dodge! Your luck has only been enhanced! Getting hit can still trigger instant death!" Seeing that Kaido had no intention of evading, Longinus shouted, the corner of his eye twitching violently.
