Background / History
Aaron is a transmigrated soul: a thirty-year-old man from 2025 who awakens in the body of the young Aaron Anderson in late 1988. His foreknowledge of major historical events and future films becomes the foundation of his plans in Hollywood. 1
The original Aaron lived with his father, John Anderson, in East Hollywood. After the 1987 stock-market crash bankrupted John, they moved to Koreatown; John later died by suicide after Aaron graduated high school. Aaron abandoned plans to attend California State University, Long Beach and instead entered Hollywood through a talent agency mailroom. 1
On Christmas Eve 1988, Aaron defeats three muggers in a Los Angeles alley. The next day, he begins his first official position as an assistant agent at CAA after surviving its six-month mailroom trial. 1 2
