Background

Lin Yan transmigrated into the world as an infant and retained memories of his past life. A childless couple adopted him, but they died in a car accident when he was ten, leaving him to survive alone through temporary work, exploitation, and bullying. On his fifteenth birthday, while nearly out of money, he activated the Myriad Worlds Sign-in System. 1

Soon afterward, Lin Yan destroyed a Gluttonous Legion aircraft with one punch. Qi Lin encountered him during the investigation and learned of his circumstances. Moved by his isolation, she celebrated his birthday, declared herself his elder sister and family, and later took him into her home. 3 5 7
