Pure Land Changes Hands

The four Oracle Envoys were slightly stunned to see Yurina Kurotetsu flee so decisively.

Enhanced by illusion magic, the paper cranes scattered in every direction, making it impossible to tell which way he had gone.

The black-robed Oracle Envoy stood amid the swirling paper cranes, his brows tightly furrowed as though he were pondering something.

"Split up and chase him?"

The other Oracle Envoys exchanged glances and were about to disperse to track down Yurina Kurotetsu when the black-robed Oracle Envoy suddenly spoke.

"Wait."

The other three Oracle Envoys turned to look at him.

"Something isn't right." The black-robed Oracle Envoy narrowed his eyes. "Earlier, he was so adamant about rescuing Subject Zero. Why did he suddenly flee so readily...?"

As if he had thought of something, he glanced in the direction Yurina Kurotetsu had just looked. Above Tokyo, the silver disc still hovered silently in the air, without the slightest abnormality.

After pondering for a moment, a black halo suddenly lit up in the black-robed Oracle Envoy's left eye. He spoke in a low voice.

"Hazu, nothing happened to Pure Land, did it?"
