Shan Heyuan is the son of the Giant powerhouse Shan Tianyue and an unnamed human woman. His surname comes from his father, while “Heyuan” is his given name. Early accounts claimed that his mother had been captured by Giants, but Shan later explained that his parents initially loved each other and divorced because of the distance and hardship separating the human and Giant worlds 24 213.

Raised between two civilizations, Shan was rejected by both: Giants treated him as human, while humans treated him as a Giant. After people insulted his parents and questioned his origins, he vowed to become a Martial Saint and prove that his parents’ relationship was genuine. That conviction became the foundation of his fist technique and his mastery of the Mountain Suppressing Battle Technique 203 213.

He became a renowned West Sea Martial University student through overwhelming physical strength, enormous True Qi reserves, and his rare combination of Giant physiology with human martial arts.
