Thirty years before her confession to Zhao Zilong, Bibi Dong was Spirit Hall’s Holy Maiden and intended to elope with Yu Xiaogang. Her teacher, Qian Xunji, forced their separation and sexually assaulted her in a secret chamber. She states that the hatred arising from this assault led her to receive the Rakshasa God’s inheritance. Later, when Qian Xunji was seriously injured, she killed him herself 259 370.

Her resentment extended beyond Qian Xunji to Qian Renxue, the Angel Clan, Spirit Hall, and eventually the world itself. She later admits that she once wanted to destroy all of them.
