Nature

The Martial Path is the collective will of living beings who practice martial arts. A world with martial artists possesses a Martial Path, and its strength rises with the number of practitioners and the prosperity of martial cultivation. 251

It differs fundamentally from the Immortal Path. The Immortal Path emphasizes comprehending Heaven and Earth and transcending the mundane, while the Martial Path originates among humanity and seeks to confront Heaven and Earth through personal strength. 236

Its ultimate purpose is to obtain invincible power through one’s own strength and shatter every obstacle. 250

Worldly Martial Paths

A world’s Martial Path exists throughout its Heaven and Earth rather than at a fixed location. Earthly Saints can sense and strike it, but a mature Martial Path absorbs attacks without visible effect. 251

A Martial Path requires both an extraordinary martial method and enough practitioners for their Will of the Masses to gather. One transcendent practitioner alone is insufficient; widespread adoption is necessary. 259

The quality and upper limit of a condensed Martial Path depend on the world’s Rules, its dominant understanding of the system, and the strength of its practitioners. In the Origin Realm, the Flesh and Blood Martial Path was raised only to the world’s Nascent Soul-stage limit. 265 290

Martial Dao Fragments

When a Martial Path is shattered, it breaks into Martial Dao Fragments. These fragments can increase Comprehension, enrich an Earthly Saint’s cultivation, and help form a personal Martial Path. 251 266

Extreme Martial Path

Created by Lu Changsheng while inhabiting Lu Yuan’s body, the Extreme Martial Path rejects traditional force cultivation in favor of comprehensive physical development. It uses food, tonics, and repeated bodily growth to break the limits of life. 253 254

The Flesh and Blood Martial Path transforms people into Bloodkin, who cultivate by devouring food, tonics, and other nourishment to strengthen their flesh. It was designed for rapid, large-scale spread in worlds dominated by the Immortal Path. 271 284
