Background / History

The Void first manifests as the Void Realm, a divine ability derived from Lu Changsheng's Mortal World Dao Fruit. At its birth, it is an empty, illusory counterpart to reality: it has neither matter nor time, but can imprison the consciousness of any intelligent lifeform it envelops. Its contents can be shaped by Lu Changsheng's understanding; anything he comprehends can be reproduced within it as an illusory construct 384.

Lu Changsheng begins filling the Realm by analyzing the spatial structure of the Sky Abyss Ancient Immortal Battlefield. He recreates its space, later develops additional layers, and uses the Realm as a safe environment to reproduce and refine immortal formations 388 390 392. Its growing complexity allows it to confine True Immortals and later imprison multiple Immortal Lords, though its early form cannot directly kill its captives and consumes power while maintained 390 392 412.

Its evolution changes course when seven Dao Ancestors extract a thread of Heaven Realm origin at great personal risk. Integrating that origin gives the Void Realm its first material foundation, beginning the transition from illusion to reality and enabling Lu Changsheng to enter the Grand Unity realm 433 434.

After refining World Origin for 180 years, the Void Realm fully materializes and becomes a World Master prototype. In the Dark Domain, Lu Changsheng further remakes it by imprinting Great Dao power and feeding it Dark Domain Origin Power. Merging a Physical Body Particle into the Realm lets it fuse world and body, advancing it into a true World Master 443 462.

The Void Realm subsequently undergoes repeated world re-creations, each greatly enlarging and strengthening its internal world.
