Troll on the Loose, I Never Expected You to Have This Kink
Night fell, and all the students gradually arrived at the Great Hall for the Halloween eve feast.
Tonight, the school had specially decorated the ceiling with a Halloween theme. Looking up, one could see clusters of low-hanging dark clouds drifting slowly through dim purple light, with silver lightning flashing across the sky from time to time.
The candles that had originally hung in the Great Hall were also covered with pumpkin shades. The flames inside flickered continuously, adding a touch of holiday color to the hall.
Of course, that was not the main point. The main point was that tonight's dinner was lavish enough to rival the opening feast.
Everyone eagerly enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere was exceptionally cheerful.
At that moment, Aaron noticed that Hermione was absent from the Gryffindor Long Table, and he could not help frowning.
"Aaron, what's wrong? Are you all right?" Draco asked.
"I'm fine!" Aaron replied. Then he walked over to Harry and asked in a low voice, "Why isn't Hermione here?"
"I don't know. She didn't come to class this afternoon either!"
"I know!" Neville, who was sitting nearby, raised his hand. "Barty said she locked herself in the bathroom. Hermione has apparently been hiding in there crying all afternoon."
Aaron froze for a moment, then looked somewhat dissatisfiedly at Ron, who was happily stuffing his face. "Is it really that hard for you to apologize? Even if you wouldn't apologize, couldn't you at least comfort her?"
Ron shrugged helplessly, indicating that he had not expected Hermione to be so fragile.
Just then, the doors were suddenly thrown open, and Professor Quirrell ran in. As he ran, he cried out in panic, "A Troll, in the Dungeon.
There's a Troll in the Dungeon."
Those two sentences drew everyone's attention. Students and teachers alike stared blankly at him, unable to process what he had said.
"Do you understand?" Professor Quirrell's voice trailed off, then his body went limp and he collapsed.
As they looked at the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor lying face-down on the floor, the students were instantly filled with panic and began screaming uncontrollably. Even the older students were no exception.
That was a Troll, a magical creature that even adult wizards might not be able to handle.
With such a Troll roaming the school unchecked, their lives could be in danger at any moment. It would be a lie to say they were not afraid.
"Silence!" Dumbledore rose from the head table, and the students who had been about to rush outside stopped in their tracks.
It had to be said that the most powerful White Mage of the century carried considerable authority. Just two words were enough to calm everyone down.
"Please do not panic. Do not panic.
Now, prefects, lead the students of your respective Houses back to their dormitories.
The teachers will come with me to the Dungeon."
As soon as he finished speaking, order was instantly restored. The prefects of each House stepped forward and organized the students into lines as they departed in an orderly fashion.
The teachers' expressions turned grave as they followed Dumbledore toward the Dungeon.
Snape, however, rolled his eyes and quickly headed toward a side door while no one was paying attention.
But just as he was about to reach it, a white figure blocked his path.
"Move!" Snape glared at Abei and strode forward.
"Professor Snape, where are you going?"
Snape turned around and saw Aaron. Helplessness and a trace of urgency mingled in his expression. "This has nothing to do with you. Go back to your dormitory. That is where you should be right now."
"No... at a time like this, it does have something to do with me," Aaron said seriously.
"What nonsense is this?" Snape's face darkened. "I'm warning you one last time. Do not block my way."
"I'm not blocking your way." Aaron calmly picked up Abei and said in a low voice, "Do you remember what you promised me? Before the end of this term, you would help me once, unconditionally."
Snape paused, hesitated for a moment, then said, "Does it have to be now? I really have something urgent to deal with."
Aaron nodded firmly before saying, "I don't know how important your matter is, but if Headmaster Dumbledore isn't worried, why should you be? My matter, however, truly is urgent."
Those words seemed to wake Snape up, and some of the anxiety on his face faded.
That was right! That thing was incomparably important, and Dumbledore knew its value better than anyone.
If something had really happened, that old man would be even more anxious than he was. Yet Dumbledore was so calm now, which clearly meant he was confident that nothing would happen to it—at least, nothing would happen for the time being.
"Fine, Mr. Gaius.
What do you need me to do?"
Aaron breathed a sigh of relief and gave an embarrassed, awkward smile. "Professor, would you be interested in accompanying me to the Girls' Bathroom?"
"Hm?" A strange smile appeared on Snape's eternally expressionless face, and the corner of his mouth twitched. "Perhaps I misheard you. Where did you say? The Girls' Bathroom?
I truly never expected you to have such a strange kink... Is it really appropriate for you to let me know about this? Or rather, is it really appropriate to waste this opportunity?
You should know how important a favor from a Potions Master is. Frankly, as long as there are enough ingredients, I could even brew you a bottle of Felix Felicis.
And your family should not lack those ingredients."
Hearing that, Aaron grew even more embarrassed. "Don't misunderstand. It's not as though my family doesn't have Felix Felicis either. No, I'm not a pervert.
Here's the situation: Hermione Granger doesn't know that the Troll has gotten loose. She should still be in the bathroom.
Sometimes, it is better to be safe than sorry.
With my current abilities, I'm not confident that I can defeat a Troll, but you certainly can.
So I can only ask you for help."
Snape looked deeply at Aaron, seemingly lost in thought. In the end, he let out a long sigh. "Let's go!"
Aaron nodded and immediately led the way.
Elsewhere, Harry, who was following Prefect Percy toward the dormitories, suddenly remembered Hermione's situation as well. After persuading his best friend Ron with just a few words, the two blended into the crowd and successfully avoided Percy's notice.
Then they quickened their pace and rushed down a side corridor, intending to find Hermione and warn her that a Troll was on the loose.
Thus, the two groups, sharing the same goal, headed for the Girls' Bathroom one after the other.
Aaron and Snape were closer, so they arrived first. They were also fortunate enough to spot an enormous creature standing three or four meters tall.
The Troll looked dull and stupid, with bubbles coming out of its nose. Its grayish-green body was covered by two garments so tattered they could barely be called clothes, making for an especially eye-searing sight.
It gripped a thick wooden club in its hand and dragged it along as it slowly approached.
An indescribable stench wafted from its body. Even from more than ten meters away, the two could smell it.
If it had to be described, it was like decades-old smelly socks, decades-old rancid clothes, and decades-old slop all mixed together.
In short, it was beyond nauseating. Even Abei buried his nose beneath Aaron's clothes.
With his exceptionally sensitive sense of smell, he felt he had suffered a tremendous injury.
"Ugh... It can't be such a coincidence, can it?" Aaron said with a bitter smile. Why did this Troll have to go to the Girls' Bathroom of all places?
"The facts prove that it can be." Snape's face was grim. He was actually somewhat glad he had come with Aaron. Otherwise, Hogwarts might have ended up with a murder case.
"Professor, the time has finally come for you to show off your skills.
Go on! Snape Severus, let me witness the strength of the Slytherin Head of House."
Snape: ...
"Listening to you say that, I feel like something is off."
"At a time like this, don't fuss over that.
In any case, Professor, in a few more seconds, the Troll will enter the Girls' Bathroom.
If we want to rescue anyone then, we'll have no choice but to change battlefields.
Of course, barring any surprises, I definitely won't enter the Girls' Bathroom and interfere with your heroic battle."
Snape snorted, glared at Aaron, and drew his Wand. "Stupefy!"
A pale white beam shot from the tip of his Wand and struck the Troll in the head.
The spell made the already dim-witted Troll see stars, but after staggering around in a few circles, it did not fall. Its footing merely became unsteady, and it swayed as it walked.
The strike also caught the Troll's attention. Enraged, it turned and lumbered toward Snape and Aaron.
"Professor!" Aaron drew his black Wand and said with some disappointment, "I can do that much too.
Are you actually capable or not? If you aren't, I'll distract it first while you take the chance to rescue whoever's inside."
"Shut up," Snape said darkly. "Although this thing has some magical resistance, it is only at the level of a High-level Mage.
And since it barely has any intelligence, even you could handle it if you were careful, much less me!
But it is school property. Unless necessary, it is better to capture it alive."
By then, the Troll had reached them. Without a word, it swung its club down at them.
"Petrificus Totalus!"
Snape and Aaron swung their Wands at the same time. One white beam and one blue beam knocked the Troll backward.
"Stupefy!"
Just as it was about to stand again, two more spells struck its tiny head.
This time, the Troll's magical resistance finally could not hold up. Its eyes rolled twice before it fell stiffly to the floor.
