Balbaldos Fights Four Alone

Balbaldos, piloting Bawei, shot down several 1.5 Gundams and Harute IIs in succession.

Balbaldos watched the battle unfolding around him on the screen and discovered that his side was in a rather unfavorable position.

"Damn it. Including me, the Heavenly Might Royal Knights only have three thousand pilots. Yesterday's battle alone cost us nearly five hundred pilots, while the Harute Angel Squad's numbers are comparable to our current manpower."

As one of Long Fei's directly commanded forces and a personal guard unit, the Harute Angel Squad had received funding to expand over the past six months. Its number of pilots had already exceeded two thousand.

Angel No. 123 locked onto Bawei. Angel Unit 1 fired the GN launcher mounted on its right shoulder at Bawei, while Angel Unit 2 deployed its GN Fangs and Angel Unit 3 wielded pistols in both hands, attacking Bawei together from close and medium range.

Bawei evaded the GN Fangs, then fired beams from the barrels on both sides of its gunblade at Angel Unit 2.

Angel Unit 2 activated its GN Field, but the field's density was insufficient to neutralize the incoming beams. Although the beams did not penetrate Angel Unit 2's armor, it still sustained some damage.

The Beam Cannon built into Bawei's shield fired directly at Angel Unit 3, but its pilot reacted swiftly and dodged.

Bawei immediately drew the folding longbow from behind its waist and fired a beam arrow at the distant Angel Unit 1.

Angel Unit 1's Mega Launcher fired a Mega Beam. The two attacks collided and exploded, scattering energy in every direction.

Then Bawei switched weapons and rapidly charged toward Angel Unit 2. Its right hand held the Gun Axe with its beam function activated as it cleaved toward Angel Unit 2.
