Iron Blossom Group Takes the Field

The Iron Blossom Group currently consisted of only two regiment-level fleets. Only the 1st Regiment Fleet had been deployed to the battlefield, while the 2nd Regiment Fleet was still undergoing training at the main base.

The main reason was that the technology they used differed greatly from that of most other units.

The Harute Angel Squad, the Iron Blossom Group, and the Mobile Assault Shell Unit—these three units directly under Long Fei—were called the three major special-technology forces by many within the Skywing Mercenary Group.

The Harute Angel Squad's Pseudo Solar Furnaces, the Mobile Assault Shell Unit's prosthetic technology and Prosthetic Limb Linked Cockpits, and the Iron Blossom Group's Alaya-Vijnana System, Yahap Reactors, frames, and Nano-layer Armor.

Other units basically lacked all of those technologies, which was why they were called special-technology forces.

Other than the Mobile Assault Shell Unit, the Harute Angel Squad's and Iron Blossom Group's MS used different engine reactors, while most of their parts and technologies were incompatible with those of other units.

Therefore, the two units' Logistics Units had to undergo training. Most logistics personnel who had previously handled maintenance and adjustments for the Goddess series, Angel series, Gundam Barbatos, and other Gundams had been specifically transferred to those two departments to train and guide new members.

The Iron Blossom Group's Nano-layer Armor had originally required certain materials from Mars or Jupiter. Later, they discovered that the Moon also possessed special metals that could serve as substitute materials.

Only then was the material shortage for the Iron Blossom Group's Nano-layer Armor resolved.

Those who underwent modification surgery with the Alaya-Vijnana System had to undergo a period of training after regaining mobility before they could be sent to the battlefield.

As for the Yahap Reactor, newly joined logistics personnel of the Iron Blossom Group needed to
