Then Long Fei produced the design blueprints for the RGM-86R GM III, changing Dr. Cordelia's mind. She researched the three TR Series GM units alongside the RGM-86R GM III and integrated their technologies.

All three GM units directly adopted the GM III's backpack and leg thruster packs, as well as a new mass-production Minovsky Super Energy Thermonuclear Reactor III, greatly increasing their mobility and output.

The Sniper GM III could likewise use a variety of weapons.
