Background / History
Qin Tian grew up in the Qin Family beneath Qin Jishi's shadow. Qin Jishi had been regarded as the family's outstanding genius despite being adopted, while Qin Tian—the legitimate heir—received less attention. Qin Jishi later remembered Qin Tian as the person who stole his Essence Blood and destroyed his childhood. 2 29
After Qin Jishi lost his Profound Energy and was expelled from the Qin Family, the family transferred Qin Jishi's engagement with Liang Simeng to Qin Tian. Qin Tian inherited the position, resources, and prestige that had once been associated with Qin Jishi, but his resentment toward his cousin never faded. 29 144 443
Qin Tian entered the Heavenly Treasure Secret Realm ostensibly for its treasures while intending to assess or eliminate Qin Jishi. There, he demonstrated the true Myriad Ghosts Moving Heaven Scripture, killed Pan Chen, and later reported Qin Jishi's supposed death to Qin Shutu. 144 165 180
He married Liang Simeng, but the wedding became a confrontation when Zhang Shiqing accused him of poisoning Qin Jishi. Qin Tian humiliated Zhang Shiqing, defeated her with his techniques, and treated the event as an opportunity to vent his hatred of Qin Jishi. 200 206 208 472

Personality
Qin Tian is deeply resentful of Qin Jishi, whose former talent and status left him with a lasting inferiority complex. Even after becoming the Qin Family's Young Master and gaining Liang Simeng's hand in marriage, Qin Jishi's return shattered the security Qin Tian had built around those achievements. 144 443 559
He is calculating and status-conscious, repeatedly attempting to use other people or factions to remove Qin Jishi rather than confronting every risk directly. He sought to use Cui Xionghai against Qin Jishi, ambushed Qin Jishi for the Golden Box, and used Qin Xiao as leverage when direct victory was uncertain. 211 213 441 579 582
Qin Tian's ambition eventually eroded into sadism. He took pleasure in forcing Qin Jishi to mutilate himself for Qin Xiao's safety, slaughtered cultivators to feed the Dark Shadow Demonic Sword, and accepted the Mad Blood Pill's life-shortening cost solely for a chance to kill Qin Jishi. 445 559 582
