Background

Lin Dong transmigrated from the modern world into the early Primordial Era. His Innate Leaky Qi Sacred Body made cultivation nearly impossible: of ten portions of innate spiritual energy he absorbed, nine leaked from the Yongquan acupoints in his soles. After cultivating from infancy through Refining Spirit into Void, he remained unable to advance. 1

The Unscrupulous System changed his fate by granting the Primordial Dao Body, twelve drops of Pangu's Essence Blood, the Nine Revolutions Primordial Profound Art, and the Heavenly Secret Concealment Mask. The new body cured his energy leakage, while the blood and cultivation art remade his body, soul, and foundation. 1

After 81,000 years of seclusion, Lin Dong emerged as a late-stage Grand Unity Golden Immortal. Rejecting methods of enlightenment that would bind him to the Heavenly Dao or the faith of others, he chose the Dao of Strength and adopted the name Xuan Wazi. 1

During the Dao-Demon conflict, Xuan Wazi exploited the chaos following Yin-Yang and Qiankun's self-destruction. Concealed by the Chaos Bead, he stole Luo Hou's Immortal-Slaying Sword Formation, its swords, and the God-Slaying Spear, leaving both Luo Hou and Hongjun enraged. 16 17

Xuan Wazi is mischievous, opportunistic, and deliberately provocative. He enjoys manipulating rivals' plans, collecting “Unfilial Points,” and turning powerful figures against one another; he repeatedly obstructed the future Saints’ paths to enlightenment for his own amusement and advantage. 16 58 60
