Background and History
Great Qin began as Qin Jun’s kingdom. At his enthronement, public faith caused his Dragon Qi to rapidly evolve into a four-clawed golden dragon, while Qin Jun declared his ambition to rule all under heaven 265. After absorbing the Sacred Dynasty, he renamed it the Great Qin Heavenly Court and imposed reforms intended to aid commoners, promote cultivation, and establish academies for selecting talent 441.
The new court immediately asserted regional supremacy. Its agents ordered every Imperial Dynasty to re-register, while the Southern Domain’s righteous and demonic factions were brought under its control 465 472. Qin Jun’s fame, military victories, and recruitment drive drew entire domains into submission; by this period the court controlled forty-seven domains, exceeding the Divine Hall’s former territorial peak 953.
Liu Bowen later led a National Destiny ritual that invoked Heavenly Dao. The ceremony used the Candle Dragon as Great Qin’s divine beast and consolidated the National Destiny of the Southern End Sea, Southern Domain, and the court itself 688 689. Its completion greatly increased Dragon Qi and spiritual energy throughout Great Qin territory, benefiting its inhabitants and cultivators 690.
After returning from the Immortal Realm, Qin Jun announced plans to relocate the court’s seat there. The Yan Wang Palace and Sect of Interception Palace subsequently submitted, completing Great Qin’s unification of the Xuan Dang Great World 1042 1044. The new realm was named the Qin Immortal Realm, with Great Qin Heavenly City established as the court’s central city 1085 1087.
The court’s influence expanded beyond its original world through the Inner Universe, the Ancient Sacred Emperor Dao, and eventually Southern Primordial Chaos. By the time Qin Jun returned after a nine-year absence, it was the unmatched strongest power in the Ancient Sacred Emperor Dao and governed five Great Dao Planes 1560. Continued campaigns later raised that total to fifty Great Dao Planes 1661.
