History
Ao Le is the daughter of Ao Zhan and Ao Yun. While her mother was hidden in the Wu River Dragon Palace during Ao Zhan's flight from the Eastern and Western Seas, Ao Yun was captured by the Western Sea. Ao Le was left behind in the Wu River, where the Dragon Lord's children ridiculed and bullied her for years. The experience left her timid and withdrawn. 366 386
She was selected as Lu Qingfeng's bride through the Fortune Inspecting Treasure Mirror and Fortune Illuminating Mirror, becoming the Minjiang Dragon Palace Consort. Although their marriage began abruptly, Ao Le gradually accepted Lu Qingfeng's consideration and support, eventually naming him among the people closest to her alongside her father and third brother, Ao Lie. 365 367
After Lu Qingfeng became Yuan Lake Water God, Ao Le accompanied him to Seal Mountain Island. She volunteered to serve as his personal guard while Lan Feihu and Yuan Bi led the territory's forces. Cultivation at Yuan Lake enabled her to forge her True Body and enter the Gathering Law Realm. 370 374
When Lu Qingfeng vanished after entering the Chun Shen Realm and was accused of defecting to demons, Ao Le remained convinced that he had reasons beyond others' understanding. During his absence, she changed from a quiet little dragon girl into a capable, sword-bearing commander of the Silver River Water Palace, fighting beside her nephew Ao Jun. 421 422
Lu Qingfeng repeatedly sought to overcome her slow cultivation and limited lifespan. He provided cultivation guidance, an Immortal Crystal, the Leaping Dragon Gate, the Dragon Transformation Pool, and other Dragon Palace treasures. When these measures could not carry her beyond the Nascent Soul realm, he used the Buddhist Minor Reincarnation Three Vehicles Wonderful Appearance Transformation Creation Wonderful Method to send her through nine lives of suffering and cultivation. 425 485 496
Ao Le attained Earth Immortal status at the end of the ritual, but Lu Qingfeng exhausted his lifespan in protecting her ascension and died afterward. She waited for him at Fulong Mountain, refusing to abandon hope even as tens of thousands of years passed. 498
After fifty-seven thousand years of waiting, Ao Le was reunited with Lu Qingfeng when he returned to the Immortal Qin Realm as Guang Yuan Divine Lord. She later accompanied him in confronting the Dragon Ancestors, reclaiming the Dragon Transformation Pool, and navigating the threats surrounding the Guang Yuan Realm. 681 686 706 719
Appearance
Ao Le is portrayed as a beautiful dragon woman whose gentle bearing contrasts with her later battlefield presence. In peaceful settings, she favors elegant palace dresses; in war, she appears in armor with a sword in hand. 369 374 421

- Wore a green dress and sword at her waist while accompanying Lu Qingfeng to take office at Yuan Lake 369

Personality
Ao Le was initially shy, timid, and soft-spoken, shaped by her neglected childhood in the Wu River Dragon Palace. However, she is perceptive about sincerity: she remembers who has treated her well and forms deep attachments to those people, particularly Ao Lie and Lu Qingfeng. 366 375
Her gentleness does not prevent resolve. After years of separation and political upheaval, she became a composed military commander who could lead troops, assess losses, and defend her territory. She remained certain that Lu Qingfeng had not truly betrayed anyone, even when his alleged demonic defection brought calamity upon her family. 421 422
Ao Le is deeply devoted to Lu Qingfeng, but she does not passively accept his sacrifices. When she discovered that his life-extending pills were made from his own Longevity Flesh, she refused to consume more of them rather than survive at the cost of his body. 474 475
Her nine reincarnations demonstrated the same steadfastness: despite repeated hardship, loss, illness, and temptation, she retained her compassion and commitment to doing good. 496
