The Power of Trust

Konan and Tsukikyuu Shang Mei fought as they retreated, while Might Guy pursued relentlessly with the Gate of View open behind them. Lee, Tenten, and Neji trailed at the rear. But after chasing them for a while, Neji suddenly stopped.

"What is it, Neji?" Lee noticed Neji's movement and stopped as well.

"They're leading us somewhere!" Neji wanted to call out to Might Guy, but Might Guy was simply too fast. By the time the three of them stopped, all they could see was his receding back.

"A trap?! Then wouldn't Might Guy be in great danger?!" Lee came to his senses and immediately rushed after him. "Might Guy, wait for me!"

"Uh... Lee didn't understand what you said at all, did he?" Tenten sighed.

"Let's catch up. Standing here won't help." Neji took it rather calmly, though he slowed down considerably this time. He knew very well that even if there was a trap, it would be impossible to kill Might Guy in a short time. So he might as well let Might Guy spring the trap while he handled undoing it.

"Don't run!" Hot-blooded Might Guy didn't care whether there was a trap or not. His thinking was simple: catch them and bring them back to the village for interrogation!
