Nagato stared at Kyōmu Kurama, only to see her pitch-black eyes begin to turn red. Her Three Tomoe Sharingan spun rapidly before connecting together.

"Mangekyō Sharingan?!" Nagato was startled and instinctively leaped off the giant chameleon. If Amaterasu caught him, even he would need some effort to break free. Kyōmu Kurama curled a finger, and three Wind Cutters descended from above, slicing through the giant chameleon's long tongue with a sharp rip.

"It's a miracle Madara Uchiha didn't kill you." Nagato recovered and could not help complaining. That kind of death-seeking talent was practically unheard of.

The entire forest suddenly froze. Even the once-colorful world darkened. Nagato's expression hardened. It seemed she was finally getting serious.
