Su Qi slept soundly, from ten o'clock at night straight through to six the next morning, a full eight hours.

When Su Qi woke up and saw the blanket that had somehow been draped over her, her heart warmed. It had probably been either her mother-in-law or that gentle flight attendant who had covered her up.

Although Su Qi, nourished by the Auspicious Dragon Pendant, was unlikely to catch a cold or come down with the sniffles, when she imagined waking up freezing in the morning, nose running and looking utterly miserable—

She still preferred this gentler way of waking up!

After waking up, Su Qi had nothing much to do, so she slowly pulled up the shade over the small round window beside her right hand, intending to take in the scenery outside.

But the moment she opened the shade, Su Qi realized that something seemed wrong with the way she had opened it.

Because aside from the occasional light flashing on the plane's fuselage, everything outside was a deep, endless black.

Though now and then, through the moonlight's reflection, she could vaguely make out bits of the boundless ocean below.
